It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Clair Brass of Thedford announce his sudden passing at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on April 10, 2024 at the age of 63 years.
Survived by son Jonathon Brass (Denise), daughter Cara Brass (James Beynen) and Liam Wilson. Grandfather of Hayden, Lorraine, Connor, Chloe, Lily and Ethan. Brother of Nancy Nelson, Starr Brass, Barbara Bell, Donna Brass Bell Hahn (Mark), Elizabeth Brass Elson, and Sherry Earhart (Dave). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by sister Edith McGuinnes and brothers Charles Pawis and William Brass.
Ron was such a great fisherman that he was called “Captain Ron” by his friends and family, but when Ron wasn’t fishing he was known for singing (even in the shower), avid hunter, tap-dancing, cooking and baking. Ron was also very mechanically inclined and was known as a "Jack of all Trades" or "the Profit" either way Ron was a extremely knowledgable person.
