Marion G. Brown (née Ellerker) of Forest, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on September 29, 2026, at the age of 97. Marion was born in London, Ontario, to Charles and Eva Ellerker.

Marion will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Susan (John), David (Pam), Cindy, and Doug; her six grandchildren, Jacki (Matt), Cameron, Abby (Ken), Mathew (Jenine), Cori (Tyler), and Josh (Nichole); 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her special friend, Darla.

Marion was predeceased by her husband, Richard; her parents, Charles and Eva; and her brothers, Floyd and Gordon Ellerker.

Known affectionately to her family as “Nanny” or “Nana B,” Marion was the much-loved matriarch of her family. Each August, the family celebrated her with their own special “Nana Day,” a tradition that reflected just how loved and cherished she was. Her presence in the lives of so many generations of her family will be deeply missed.

The family would like to sincerely thank the Palliative Care team at Bluewater Health and Dr. Crombeen for their compassion, care, and support during this time.

The family will Celebrate Mom's Life privately, with interment to take place at Beechwood Cemetery in Forest, Ontario, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion’s memory may be made to Parkinson Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice.
