With the heaviest of hearts, we announce that on Thursday, May 16, 2024, Dell Rosaire Chauvin Sr. passed away at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Barbara Chauvin (nee Babcock) and Cherished father of Dell Chauvin Jr, Jerry (Liza) Chauvin, Billy (Tina) Yacks, Devin (William) Howard and honourary daughter Christy. Dell is a devoted and loved grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 4. Son of the late Junior and Violet Chauvin and dear brother of Neil, Kelly, Kevin and the late Mark, Cindy and Tammy. He will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. If you where ever looking for Dell, he could usually be found fishing, playing darts at the Moose or watching one of his children play baseball. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231). His family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
