Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Ross Frederick Croxall passed away at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Jean Ann Croxall. Loving father of Douglas, Brenda Somers (Mike), and Lorrie Mason (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Jamie (Karly), Brooke (Wesley), Leah (Duncan), Tara (Lauren), and Jesse (Megan), and great-grandfather of 11 wonderful great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Dorothy Arksey and the late Alan Croxall. Ross came to Sarnia in 1947 where he began working as an Instrument Technician at Polysar and retired from in 1986. Ross was a member of the Bluewater Anglers and Huron Oaks Golf Course. He loved playing music and especially enjoyed entertaining the residents of local nursing homes. Ross was known as a sweet man. He frequently collected bakery items to supply to local foodbanks and contributed to many charities. Ross was a scout leader for many years. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the staff at Shine At Home for their fabulous services, allowing our Dad to safely stay at home, and the staff at Vision Rest Home and Bluewater Health. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
