Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospice- Sarnia, surrounded by loving family and his best friend Dan Chartrand, Brian passed away after a bravely fought battle with cancer on November 15, 2025, at the age of 63.
Born on March 14, 1962, in Sudbury, ON, Brian was the beloved son of Thérèse (Boulay) and the late Wayne Cullum (2004). He was the cherished life partner of Lori Vincent and the devoted father to their son, Brett Cullum of Bright’s Grove.
Brian is also lovingly remembered by his siblings—Cathy Charles (Dan), Sharon Ratthé (Mario), Janice Chalifoux (Marc), and Wendy Cullum (Rick Stanhope).
A proud and dedicated member of Sarnia Carpenters’ Local 1256, Brian had a deep passion for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was never happier than when spending time at his place on Crooked Lake. Brian was also a lifelong fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Oncology Department at Bluewater Health, Dr. Lebert and Dr. Lilly. A special thanks to Dr. Kim of Bluewater Palliative Care Clinic for his strength and compassion. And finally to the guardian angels at St. Joseph’s Hospice.
In keeping with Brian’s wishes no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or Sarnia Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
