Audrey sadly lost her battle with dementia on Monday July 21, in her 87th year. Audrey is survived by her loving devoted husband Richard. They were married for 67 years. Richard often said my main goal in life is to put a smile on Audreys face. They married in Manchester, England on Dec 6th, 1958, and there first son David was born in February of 1960. Two years later, their second son Ian arrived and two years after, they welcomed their third son, Allan.

With this growing family. Audrey and Richard decided to immigrant to Canada to give their children better opportunities. Ironically, they flew to Canada on Dec 6, 1966. They initially lived in Hamilton, but eventually settled in Sarnia, ON, where they added two more children Kevin and Wendy to the family.

Audrey and Richard (Dick) joined the British Canadian club where they made friends with similar culture backgrounds and are still great friends today. Audrey loved the social aspects of the club and enjoyed the friendships made. She loved to play bridge or any card game. She could often be spotted having tea and cookies with the ladies. Audrey and Dick enjoyed dancing, barbeques, bowling and socializing with their friends. But her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Her face would light up whenever she would see a child.

She will be sadly missed by her children David (Karon), Ian (Silvia) Alan (Betty), Kevin, and Wendy (Brian). Her grandchildren Dustin, Emily, Kenny (Renee) Scott, Kayla (Phil) Melissa, Cody, Kimberly, Domenic and Victoria. And the great grandkids Alexis, Trace, Luke, Aurora, Bentley, Bailey, Jade and Bryson.

We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Sumac Lodge for taking such good care of Audrey.
