Robert Warren Henry passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Bluewater Health, at the age of 78, following a courageous journey with cancer.
Born in Sarnia and raised in Wilkesport, Bob attended high school in Wallaceburg and remained close to his roots throughout his life. He worked for many years as a school bus driver with Lang Bus Lines, a job he truly enjoyed, especially the early mornings before the sun came up. In his spare time, Bob loved tinkering with his trucks and heading out on day trips with Louanne. Together, they enjoyed exploring Ontario’s countryside, taking the scenic route along the “slow roads” and appreciating the simple pleasures along the way.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sandra Henry (Dean Scott) and Mike Henry, and his grandchildren, Regan Boeykens and Wynn Schneider. He will be deeply missed by his longtime partner of 18 years, Louanne, with whom he shared many cherished memories and adventures.
Bob was the second youngest of five children, and will be lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings, Sheila Holmes and Gary Henry, along with several nieces and nephews throughout Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Elva (Frew) (Henry) (Martin) and Peter Henry, his sister Katherine Thomas, and his brother Jim.
Cremation has taken place, and interment will be held at a later date in the family plot at Wilkesport Cemetery.
