Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Monday, February 23, 2026, at North Lambton Lodge, Ethel Lorraine (nee Parrott) Hoyle passed away at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Hoyle (2021) for 63 years. Loving mother of Michael (Tanya), Janice (John), Karen (Bob), and Lisa (Loklin). Cherished grandmother of Kristopher (Tina), Stephanie, Mathew (Erin), Aaron, Samantha (Raffi), Kurtis (Elyse), Konrad (Heidi), Mackenzie, Gwendolyn, Nicole, Oskar, and angel Hayley. Treasured great-grandmother of Sophia, Jack, Maddie, Ellie, Oliver, Lucas, and angel Henry. The family wishes to sincerely thank the incredible staff of North Lambton Lodge for the loving care and compassion they showed to Ethel throughout her time there. Their kindness, warm smiles, and thoughtful attention meant so much to her and to all of us. Knowing she was cared for with such respect and tenderness brought our family great comfort and peace. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of choice.
