It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pauline Virginia Janzen at her home on July 31, 2026.

Pauline was the devoted and loving wife of the love of her life and forever soulmate, Leo Paquette. Together, they shared a beautiful bond built on unconditional love, companionship, and unwavering devotion. She was also a wonderful mom to her beloved fur baby, Sage, who will deeply miss faithfully lying by her side.

Pauline leaves behind many cherished family members who will forever miss her. She was the beloved daughter of Connie (Perry) Craenen and a loving sister to her four sisters and older brother. She shared an especially close bond with her younger brother, Clark, who was by her side each day, driving her to treatments and courageously supporting her throughout her battle with cancer whenever Leo was unable to be there.

Pauline will also be lovingly remembered by her caring sister-in-law, Janine Craenen; her parents-in-law, Linda and Leo Paquette; and her siblings-in-law, Sheena Lane (Ryan), Ryan Paquette (Kristy Jeffery), and Jennifer Paquette. She will be dearly missed by her special Uncle Cam and Aunt Megan, five nieces, three nephews, her godson, Lloyd Craenen, and her special buddy, Ethan Craenen.

Pauline was predeceased by her beloved Oma and Opa, her godfather, John C., her nephew, Soham Lane, and Paul James.

Kind and compassionate, Pauline found great joy in helping others. She was a dedicated worker who loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and fishing. Above all else, her greatest happiness came from the life she shared with Leo and the unconditional love of Sage.

Pauline’s kindness, strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
