In Loving Memory of Our “Mia Girl”
With hearts broken beyond measure, we share the passing of our precious Mia Kathleen Lacey, who will be deeply loved and forever missed by her parents, Justin and Tana. Beloved little sister of Kane and Harper.
Cherished granddaughter of Laura and Jamie McDonald, Perry Lacey, and Barry and Lynn Rawlings. Dear niece of Cindy and Darryl Duval, Barb and Pat Tulpin, Uncle JJ and Nikki, Tyler and Katherine Rawlings, Emma McDonald, Brook Lacey, Jennifer Lacey, and April Lacey. Loved cousin of Dakota, Nick, and Mason, and dearly loved by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Lacey side of the family. Mia will also be forever remembered by the entire Mill Street Gang, whose lives were brighter because she was part of them.
Though Mia's time with us was far too short, every day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that her family will treasure forever.
Mia had a beautiful smile that could light up any room. Full of sass, spunk, and personality, she had a spark that was uniquely her own. She was our little princess, but she was never afraid to jump right into the fun. Alongside the Mill Street Gang, she spent countless hours riding bikes on the dirt bike track the parents built, getting muddy, laughing, and making the kinds of childhood memories that will be cherished forever.
She also loved her quiet moments. Mia could often be found borrowing her mom's phone to make videos about putting on makeup or singing along to her favourite songs. She adored playing with her baby dolls, dressing them up, and, every now and then, giving them a little "makeover" with a permanent marker.
Although our hearts ache beyond words, we find comfort in knowing that Mia's love will remain with us always. Her laughter, her beautiful smile, and the joy she brought to everyone around her will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever five.
We all miss you, our sweet "Mia Girl."
Cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Mia's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up to support the family with funeral expenses and the loss of income while they take the time they need to grieve. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly to Tana and Justin. E-transfer: [email protected]
