Surrounded by her family at her home in Sarnia, Helen passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Dino Martinello. Beloved mother of John (Yan), Sandra (Eric) Bogoslowski, Stan, Peter and Guy (Margit). Loving grandmother of Ward, Karl, Mette and Jenna and great-grandmother of Feliks. Born 1935 in Wallaceburg, Helen was predeceased by her parents Stanislaus Daigneault and Helen Bertrand and her brothers Bob “Turk,” Stan, Lucien “Red” and Henry. Helen was a proud 1957 graduate of the St Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Chatham. Strong until the end, Helen was always there whenever her children needed her. Always in our hearts, she will be sorely missed. At Helen’s request cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred with her husband at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
