Ross Harry McEachran, 77, of Sarnia (Mooretown), died peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, December 15, 2023, at Bluewater Health. Loving husband to Linda (née Beatson) of 56 years. Proud father to sons Scott (Janet), Jody (Kathleen), Matthew (Carrie), Jonathan (Jeanette), and Adam. Adoring grandfather of Brian (Venessa), Elizabeth (Cody), Seth, Julie (Collin), Jessica, Rachel (Ernesto), Tom, Emma, Eve, Logan, Hannah, Anabelle (Samuel), Victoria, Adeline, Theodore, Eliza Jane, and Caitlin, Charlie, Samuel, Porter. Dear brother of Jacqueline (“Jackie”) Coulbeck and her late husband Bill . Also survived by great grandchildren Jaxson, Emily, Alexis and Caleb and many nieces and nephews. Ross was an avid classic car enthusiast, Leafs fan, and animal lover. He built several successful businesses in the Sarnia area and was known for his hard work ethic, his pragmatic sense of fairness, and his quiet acts of generosity. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and dedicated his time to serving in a variety of callings. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. A service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1400 Murphy Rd N, Sarnia. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery at 1016 Colborne Rd, Sarnia. The family are grateful to the staff at Bluewater Health, especially the 4th floor, for their kind and compassionate care.
