With heavy hearts we announce that on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the age of 84, Anthony ‘Tony’ Pollak passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Maxine (nee Latimer) by his side. Tony is the loving father of Beth (Phil) Mills, Katherine (Gary) Bechard, Patricia Pollak (Eric Tulloch) and the late Kevin Pollak (1994). Cherished grandfather of Rochelle, Kaitlyn, Connor, Caleb, the late Joshua Mills (2023) as well as 5 great grandchildren. Only son of the late Rudolf and Elzabeta Pollak. Tony will be remembered as a very easy going, kind and considerate man who was a gifted handyman and enjoyed boating fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and snow birding to Flordia following his retirement from Navistar after 32 and half years. He will be kept fondly in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, in-laws, neighbours and friends. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. His funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11am with cremation to follow.
