Peacefully, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Norene Margaret Scott passed away at the age of 88.

Norene is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Richard "Dick" Scott (2014). She leaves behind her loving children Jim (Melissa), Cindy (predeceased Ron 2022), Steve (Robin), and Bryan (Stephanie). Cherished Nana to Krystal, Kyle (Hannah), Samantha (Dustin), Matthew (Devon), Taylor (Alanna), Erynne (Eric), Tara (Michael), Jeffrey and Sydnee. Norene is survived by her adoring great-grandchildren Madyson, Braxton, Tessa, Lincoln, Lyla, Oliver, Blake, Lily, Amelia, Jensen and Isaac. Dear sister of the late Allan Ellwood (2024) and Lois, and Robert "Bob" Ellwood and Barbara. Norene will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families, as well as many friends.

Norene's family would like to express sincere gratitude to the Cancer Clinic and Palliative Care Unit at Bluewater Health for their care and compassion.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
