Clint grew up farming with his dad on Petrolia Line and later purchased his own farm with Ruby to raise their family while working for Androck in Watford for 33 years. He was a long-time member of the Inwood Lodge No. 503 A.F.& A.M. Clint and Ruby had a great time going antiquing and to auction houses searching for perfect little slices of history. This shared interest was a great excuse to spend many hours together and they liked it so much, they decided to open their own shop, County Corner Antiques. Together, they travelled, went to car shows and found a lot of joy in second home, Sanlan Ranch campground in Florida. Clint loved to golf, but especially when he could show off his grandkids on the greens and teach them a skill or two. Each and every grandkid was a bright light in his life; he would do anything for them and showed up to as many milestone moments as he could. He was so very proud!
A private graveside service will take place. A Celebration of Clint’s life will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 216 in Petrolia, from 1:00-5:00p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Paul’s United Church Petrolia Community Refrigerator.
A special thank you to Dr. Taylor and the staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa for the care they provided.
