Peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Bluewater Health with her loving family by her side, Patricia Elizabeth Simpson passed away at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Bradley Simpson for 54 years. Loving mother of Bryan Simpson (Lisa) and Jeffrey Simpson (Brittany). Proud grandmother of Ashley Simpson (Kelson) and Adam Simpson. Loving sister of Robert Wolfe (Donna) and Susan Lawrence (late Ron). Survived by her in-laws Liz Wolfe (late Douglas), David and Laura Simpson, Ross and Magda Simpson and Donna Wolfe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth Wolfe and Rita Wolfe, and brother Douglas Wolfe (Liz).
Pat was a stay-at-home mother for many years before going to college as a mature student and graduating with honours in the Tourism and Travel program. After graduating, Pat worked at CAA Sarnia as a travel consultant for many years where she made many close friends among her clients and coworkers. She loved to travel and her and Brad were fortunate to visit many countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bali, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. Pat was a long time Sarnia Sting season ticket holder, loved entertaining family and friends, and just sitting on the deck of her home in Port Lambton watching the river. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bluewater Health 4th Floor Med G and 5th Floor Palliative Care for the kind and compassionate care she received over the past months. Special thanks to Dr. Kim and Dr. Stoesser, as well as Karen Goodman and Brittany Glazier for your support during this journey.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pat’s life will be announced at a later date.
