In His perfect timing, the Lord called to Himself His child Lenie Sipkens on Saturday, May 25th, at the age of 94 at Bear Creek Terrace, Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Sipkens (2009). Loving Mother of Ed and Ellen Sipkens, Ken and Jennifer Sipkens, Paul and Karen Sipkens, and Wayne and Sue Sipkens. Dearly loved by 14 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters in Holland. Survived by her sister in law lneke Willeboordse in Holland. She is also survived by her in-laws Earl (Janet) Sipkens, Joan Huizinga, Clara (Bill) Barneveld, Agnes Sipkens, and Gertrude Sipkens as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a long-time member of Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, Sarnia, Ontario and loved her Lord dearly. The family would like to thank the staff of Bear Creek Terrace Petrolia, for their love and care for mom during her stay there.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Christian Church, 5783 Camlachie Rd., Wyoming, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donation to John Knox Christian School (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
