Violet Mary Smith (nee Juliff) passed away suddenly at Twin Lakes Terrace at the age of 80. Violet was predeceased by her husband Ray Smith. She was the loving mother of her daughters Gail Lacroix (Richard), Shelly Young (Jim), and Sherry Smith (Morgan). Cherished grandmother of Blake, Dylan, Ryan and Zachary Lacroix, Josh and Jessica Young and Andrew and Amanda Scott. Survived by her siblings, Fred Juliff, Margret Field, and Doreen Danton. Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Micks, Richard, John and George Juliff. Violet was a long-time employee of the Lambton Kent District School Board. She enjoyed her country music and loved all animals. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Thank you to the staff at Twin Lakes Terrace for the wonderful care of Mom over the last two years.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Violet’s wishes, no services will be held.
