Peacefully, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Vision Nursing Home, Walter Sorg passed away at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Mary Sorg (nee Stumpf) (2007). Loving father of Mark (Angela) Sorg. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas (Anna) Sorg and Lauren Sorg. Dear brother of Daniel (the late Ellen), Helen (the late Frank), and Kathy (Henry). Walter will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Hilda (the late Phillip), Konrad (Lena), and John. Walter and Mary raised their son, Mark, in Windsor, Ontario, while operating their successful family-run business Walmar Window and Doors. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Walter’s wishes, no services will be held.
