It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of James Edward Taylor, a loving husband, father, and brother. James passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 62. James unwavering support and encouragement to his family and friends was always with love. He loved to make people laugh and had a great sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Carol (Symington) Taylor, son Steven Taylor, daughter Lisa Taylor (Jordan Kindred), nephew Ryan (Breanne), and their son Liam Taylor, and brother David Taylor. Predeceased by Keith Taylor. His legacy of love, laughter and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. James retired from Nova Chemicals in 2022 as a longtime employee, professional photographer and avid drummer. James loved the outdoors and had fond memories of Huntsville. James will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
