Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 20, 2026, Patrick Cornelius Taylor passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice at the age of 85.
Patrick was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maureen Taylor. Loving father of Stephen Taylor. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Taylor (Thomas Hawkins), and proud great-grandfather “C” of Brayden, Keenan, and Rowan Hawkins.
Patrick found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved going on cruises, spending time on the golf course, and was a devoted supporter of Everton Football Club. Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour, Patrick was often the comic relief in any room, sharing stories that brought smiles to those around him.
His warmth, laughter, and gift for storytelling will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their kindness, care, and compassion during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will be held.
