With his children by his side, Robert Joseph Wonderhem passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 66, following a brief stay at St. Joseph's Hospice.
Loving father of Derek (Karlye) and Caitlin. Grandfather to Blayne, Jack, Maxwell and Novalin. Robert is also survived by his niece Andrea (Vautour), nephew James, and cousins Mike Doupe and Diana George, along with their families. He was predeceased by his parents, William Wonderhem and Jean (née Berdan), and his brother Bill.
Robert enjoyed a long career as a Piping Designer with SNC Lavalin. Outside of work, he had a deep love for music and a special fondness for his pets.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bluewater Health’s Palliative Care Unit and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Robert’s final days.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice, London’s Children’s Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
