Brayden Bell and his Team Germany teammates finished second in their group and 10th overall at the recent U19 World Lacrosse Challenge in Six Nations.

Bell, a product of the Sarnia Minor Lacrosse system, won his first international game by turning aside 21 shots in a 4-1 win over Israel.

In the group final, he tallied two assists, but lost to Team Seneca, 8-7 on a late powerplay goal.

Bell played 165 minutes in the first-ever world event, with a goals against average of 6.36.

He has been contacted by National Lacrosse League teams to attend training camp, but admits that as a 17-year-old it would be a long shot to make a pro roster for the coming season.
