Passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on Monday, June 24, 2024 a month short of her 92nd birthday. Predeceased by her parents John Treleaven (1964) and Marjorie (Rose) Treleaven (2000); husband Bill Lane (2020); sister Audrey (Treleaven) McIntee (2019) and brother-in-law Don McIntee; brother John Treleaven (2023) and sister-in-law Mary Treleaven (1995); and brother-in-law Murray Ross (2017). She is survived by daughters Linda Hewitt (Larry); Karen Lane and friend Leta LaPointe; and son Jim Lane (Karen Parsons) and her sister Midge Ross. Grandchildren David (Melissa) Hewitt, Paul (Cheri) Hewitt, Mark (Jess) Hewitt, Ryan Lane, Travis Lane, and Michelle (Jonil) Lane. Great grandmother of Xander, Shelby, Landon, Leah, and Lyra Hewitt, and Mia Patel. A special thank you to the staff at Vision Retirement Home. You kept her on her toes. She really enjoyed the staff. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
