We are all in this world together

A reader praises Humans of Sarnia for reminding the community that everyday people, not politics, are the true foundation of a healthy society.

The Journal's regular series, "Humans of Sarnia", is a notable and intrinsically essential dimension of quality journalism that remind us that the real character of community is its residents.

While we can be frustrated with complexities of political process that sometimes seem faceless, your series engenders a real appreciation for compassion and caring amongst those who are the real core of healthy society.

So, maybe we can accept that a reality of political process is controversy and compromise, while realizing that its foundation is the everyday people of community who demonstrate that we are all in this world together, and respect for one another is what will keep society strong.

Congratulations on an excellent series, and on your commitment to the critical role of healthy journalism in maintaining healthy democracy.
