Honourable Malcolm Cameron Chapter brings books and supplies to London Road School

A longstanding community partnership between a local IODE chapter and London Road School got a little warmer this week, with a delivery of books, backpacks, snacks, and running shoes.

The Honourable Malcolm Cameron Chapter has a special relationship with London Road School, and that bond was on full display with a recent visit by chapter President Jayne Little and Treasurer Jan Casbourn.

The pair delivered a collection of books to school Librarian Amanda Knight, along with running shoes, supplies for the snack cabinet, and backpacks for students.

Among the books donated was a copy of "T is for Terry: An ABC of Courage," a title that reflects the chapter's commitment to inspiring young readers. Each book in the collection included a bookplate identifying the school, the chapter, and the phrase "For the Love of Reading."
