Sarnia Fire Rescue Services is reminding motorists to drive with caution amid an increase in vehicle collisions in hazardous winter weather.
The service posted a photo on social media of a vehicle that slammed into a hydro pole at LaSalle Line and Ladysmith Road, early Wednesday. No injuries were reported.
“We would like to remind everyone that with fluctuating temperatures, road conditions can be unpredictable,” the post noted.
Public Education Officer Mike Otis pointed to a increase in motor vehicle collisions recently, as multiple weather warnings and winter travel advisories have been issued for the area.
“Drivers should adjust their driving to the current weather conditions,” he added.
