A team of volunteers had a busy morning carving this “ice tree” for the Santa Claus parade through downtown Sarnia on Saturday night.

The tree is meant to raise awareness about the Sarnia-Lambton Children’s Aid Society holiday gift program, which is aiming to assist 455 children and their families this year.

Snowfest, Damar Security and Brandon Contractors helped with the CAS float.
