Indian Road rehabilitation to begin July 6
A section of Indian Road in Sarnia will undergo curb repairs and asphalt resurfacing over the next two months, with delays expected for motorists in the area.

A section of Indian Road, also known as County Road 29, is set for rehabilitation starting Monday, July 6. The work will take place between Kathleen Avenue and Exmouth Street.
The project has been awarded to GIP Paving Inc. and includes curb repairs, adjustments to manholes, valves and catchbasins, milling of the existing surface asphalt, and hot mix asphalt resurfacing aimed at improving roadway conditions.
Through traffic will be permitted during construction, and access to businesses in the area will remain open while the work is completed. Motorists should expect delays and temporary lane closures, though some work will be done overnight to help reduce disruptions.
The project is expected to take approximately two months to complete, weather permitting. Drivers are asked to follow all traffic control signage and to drive in a manner that respects the health and safety of road crews.
Additional road closure information and project updates are available at Municipal511.ca and lambtononline.ca/roadclosures.
