Literacy Lambton has launched its annual Give-a-Book campaign to help promote a love of reading to youth across Lambton County.

From now until Dec.11, new, unwrapped books can be donated at the following locations:

  • Literacy Lambton’s office in the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre (180 College Ave. N)
  • Coles Bookstore in Lambton Mall
  • The Book Keeper in Northgate Plaza (providing a 20% discount for donated books purchased at their location)

Online donations of $20 or more can be made via www.literacylambton.org/donate, and donors will receive an immediate, printable tax receipt.

Last year’s campaign was a success with 3,787 new books distributed through 34 frontline partners, far exceeding the goal of 3,500 books.

Private donors, service club grants, and area book clubs contributed towards the campaign’s success.
