As businesses across Sarnia‑Lambton continue to navigate rapid technological change and evolving market pressures, B2B Resource Night 2026 is returning for its third year with a clear focus: helping local businesses and decision‑makers work smarter, adapt faster, and prepare for what’s ahead.
Taking place on March 31 at the Four Points Sheraton, B2B Resource Night is a free business event designed to be flexible and accessible, allowing attendees to participate in the portions of the event most relevant to them. Business owners, managers, and decision‑makers are encouraged to attend the featured AI panel presentation, but are also welcome to drop in throughout the afternoon for the trade show portion of the event.
A key highlight of this year’s event is the AI Panel Presentation, running from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., which focuses on how artificial intelligence is already impacting core areas of business — and how organizations can adopt it responsibly and effectively.
The panel features three local experts, each addressing AI from a different but critical business perspective:
David Grant of CanWeb will explore the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, focusing on how businesses can safely improve productivity while protecting themselves from evolving digital threats. His presentation is designed to be practical and accessible, particularly for small and mid‑sized businesses without dedicated IT teams.
Lisa Isaac of Owl Insight HR will address AI and human resources, helping employers understand the human side of AI adoption. Her session focuses on trust, compliance, privacy, role clarity, and workplace culture — ensuring technology supports people and sound decision‑making.
Scott Rawcliffe of Scott Rawcliffe Consulting will cover AI and marketing, showing how businesses can train and use AI tools to improve efficiency, messaging, and results while maintaining authenticity and strategic focus.
To ensure immediate value, all attendees of the AI panel will receive an AI Toolkit valued at over $1,000, including tools, templates, and resources that can be implemented right away.
Following the panel, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., the event transitions into a B2B trade show that attendees can visit at their convenience.
Attendees will have access to more than 40 local subject‑matter experts working across marketing, IT, HR, cybersecurity, finance, operations, business strategy, and more, all supporting businesses throughout the Sarnia‑Lambton region.
For those unable to attend the earlier AI panel, the trade show provides an opportunity to drop in after 3:00 p.m. to connect directly with experts, ask questions, and gain insight into emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities as businesses look toward 2026 and beyond.
Rather than a traditional sales‑driven format, the emphasis is on practical guidance, knowledge‑sharing, and meaningful conversations, allowing business owners and decision‑makers to make efficient use of their time.
Participating exhibitors are also contributing more than $10,000 in business‑related prizes, adding further value for those attending the trade show portion of the event.
Now in its third year, B2B Resource Night continues to grow as a community‑driven initiative, shaped by collaboration among local business leaders who share a commitment to supporting the region’s business community.
The 2026 planning committee includes:
Their combined expertise has helped shape an event that balances practical education, strategic insight, and meaningful local connection.
B2B Resource Night 2026 takes place on March 31 at the Four Points Sheraton. The event is free to attend, and attendees are welcome to participate in the AI panel, the trade show, or both.
