Surrounded by his loving family, Mark Daniel Pierson passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia on January 19, 2026, at the age of 45.
Mark was the beloved husband of Krista for 20 years and a proud and devoted father to Thomas and Dallas. He was the cherished son of Maxine and the late John (2009), and a loving brother to Ian. He was also a dear brother-in-law to Austin and a son-in-law to Sherry and the late Paul (2025). Mark will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Mark was a family man first and foremost, and especially treasured his Sunday “PJ days” spent at home. He took great pride in his career with VIP Rail and was a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Dallas Cowboys.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Mark’s homecare nurse, Lance, and to the compassionate staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their exceptional care and support.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at a later date.
