Sarnia’s Andrew Davies and his McMaster Marauders teammates swept the podium at the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) Cross Country Championships held Saturday in London, Ont.

The Northern Collegiate graduate took silver (24:41), in a field of 102 runners for the 8km race, just seconds behind first-place teammate Max Turek (24:36), while Alex Drover wasn’t far behind at 24:49 in third place individually.

His former Northern coaches were even there to cheer him on — Mark Scott and Kelly Winegard-Whitlock.
